How Dugu treats your data.

Dugu is in early access and not open yet. This page says how it is being built. The full privacy policy will be published before anyone signs in.

• Nothing leaves without your yes.

Messages, emails, payments and requests wait for you to approve them. After you approve, you get a few seconds to undo. You can let Dugu answer routine things in a group, like times and links, and switch that off any time. Money always finishes on your own UPI PIN.

• Answers travel. Secrets don’t.

When your Dugu asks a friend’s Dugu something, theirs checks privately and sends back only the answer, like free after 7. Your chats and your calendar stay yours.

• Access only when it’s needed.

Your contacts when you invite someone. The microphone the first time you talk. Your calendar the first time it would have helped. Each is asked once. Say no and it won’t ask again.

• Your groups.

When you bring a WhatsApp group, Dugu reads it for you. Before anything it learned reaches the group, it shows you first: Here’s what I think happened. Correct me before I tell anyone. Nobody gets an invite unless you send it.

• See it. Change it. Delete it.

A plain list of everything Dugu remembers, each with Forget this, which works instantly. You can export your data or delete everything.

• No ads.

Dugu doesn’t show ads. You’re not the product.

• Your early access number.

If you join early access, your number is used to tell you when it’s your turn. Nothing else. It is stored on servers in Mumbai. Reply STOP to any message and it’s deleted.
